ITN have been doing live broadcasts all week and I've been told by people back home that they've been quite interesting(http://www.itn.co.uk/news/index_8173d34e6cbfd5d33223284330797ad4.html). Although I can't say I'm as concerned as they appear to be about ice bergs melting in the Antarctic summer... I've managed to avoid being interviewed by them so far (sorry mom), but the Bonner lab and some of the dive team should get their moment of glory on Thursday.
HRH and Mr HRH visited the lab on Tuesday, they are both really down to earth people appeared to enjoy being shown around. A plaque for a time capsule we're burying near the new Bransfield building was unveiled in the afternoon following a short speech from BAS director Chris Rapley.
